Illume Umbra Research is an independent, privately operated research initiative focused on documenting, analyzing, and understanding anomalous events and patterns that resist easy categorization.

Founded on a commitment to open inquiry, Illume Umbra Research explores the liminal spaces where folklore meets fieldwork, and where sightings, stories, and sensor data overlap with forgotten history, natural anomalies, and official silence.

We investigate with rigor and humility, combining tools from science, data analysis, and archival research with firsthand field observation.
